I am finally gone. Officially out of New Zealand, off the plane, and in the Ramada hotel in Bangkok. I sit with my back to a beautiful view as I type this, which stretches over a river and her bridge. It’s half past five in the morning, but it feels more like it’s eight o’clock.
It’s strange, because you’re not allowed to drink the tap water here. You have to use bottled water, even to do your teeth! Last night, on the plane, I saw a thunderstorm. It was really cool seeing one from the air, because the clouds kind of light up every time the lightning flashes.
Today we’re going to the Chatuchak markets which are apparently HUGE and really cheap. Sounds fun. Gotta go get ready for breakfast!
Thunderstorm sounds very cool.
